Well, I think the post title says it all. Darkness Falls on Egypt… Thanks to Barack Obama

May 16, 2012 in Updates

By Joel Richardson WND

On Jan. 31, 2011, the first day protests began in Egypt, in an WND article titled, “What’s next in the Middle East,” I predicted precisely what we are now seeing unfold in Egypt. Don’t get me wrong – I am no prophet, but as I said then, and continue to believe, if one simply has a solid understanding of what the Bible says about the future of the region, as well as a solid understanding of the religious and geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, then this was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, the Obama administration, and the entirety of the mainstream media, missed this one by a full 180 degrees.

Literally hours after the protests began in Egypt, President Obama called for an “orderly transition” to democracy there, stopping just shy of demanding President Mubarak step down, but making it clear that his days were numbered.

The Collapse of the Euro: The Collapse of the Euro-Centered End-Time Perspective?

May 14, 2012 in Updates

If the Euro collapses, which I certainly hope does not happen, what will this mean for the long-held view that the present European Union is that which the prophets spoke of? Will some simply claim that this was all foretold? When we look at the relevant texts that speak of the last days empire, we see that Scripture simply does not allow for this. There is no room for a revived, revived Roman Empire. Those who have held to the Roman Eschatological Paradigm will either acknowledge the error of the Euro-centric view, or they will be forced to harden their position, ultimately committing violence to the relevant biblical passages.

Little Song Birds

May 12, 2012 in Updates

So every mommy (and daddy) with kids is always looking for good worship music to play for the kiddos in the endless drives here or there. Occasionally you find something so good that you just have to share it with your friends. Little Song Birds is just such an album. Well, actually it’s an EP, with a full album to be released later. What I love about these songs is the unique, fun & worshipful Hawaiian flavor as well as the fact that one of the songs actually teaches kids about the return of Jesus. Where else can you find this? In any case, if you know any little disciples who might enjoy this gem, then pick up a copy. I hope you love it as much as I do! Aloha and Many Blessings, Joel

Stavanger, Norway

May 8, 2012 in Updates

I’ve just returned from Stavanger, Norway.  The nation, the city, and the people were absolutely beautiful. It was a pleasure and an honor to meet with the people of Salem Church as well as several visitors to mutually encourage one another in the LORD. We had three days of meetings discussing the return of Jesus, the end times, loving Muslims, current events in the Middle East and how we should be living in light of all these things. In the famous peace monument above, three enormous bronze swords memorialize the battle of Hafrsfjord in the year 872, when Harald Hårfagre united Norway into a single kingdom. In my brief visit, I felt a genuine connection to Norway and the Church there and expect to return.

Islamic Antichrist: Farsi Version

May 2, 2012 in Updates

I recently met with a pastor who shepherds over 350 underground churches in Iran. I was blessed beyond words to learn that he had translated an abbreviated version of my book Islamic Antichrist into Farsi (Persian), the language of Iran. Even more encouraging was his report at how much the book resonated with the believers in Iran and spurred them on to proclaim the Gospel among their countrymen. There is a genuine revival taking place in Iran, despite the efforts of the Mullahs to crush such a move. What God has determined, no man can stop. Please remember to pray for our beautiful brothers and sisters in Iran! Click the Print Friendly icon at the bottom of the page to download the file to save or print.
